None of these 8 seats require a traveller to climb over or be climbed over when aisle access is desired.

3E/F have substantial personal storage lockers - big enough for a rollaboard and the personal item.
I'm on QF73 is August - normally I choose 5 B/J but they are chosen. I'm debating between 3F and 14A/K. With 14A/K it seems that based on other posts it is easy to get by passengers to use the restroom, is that correct? Is 3F pretty open (meaning less privacy)? I'm trying to remember that seat...

14A/K are emergency exit seats, there's nothing in front and you have immediate access to the aisle.

... plus there is a large robust handle at the exit door allowing easy access to the area in front without disturbing the aisle passenger.

One downside can be that as they are exit row seats, OLCI is not fully available.

Another seat question... I'm on QF1579 operated by Qantaslink in J. I'm currently in 2C. What are these seats like. The seat map shows a large spaced between 2D/F so I'm curious if this is a more desirable seat.

That's because the seat numbering in Business is AC DF while economy is AC DEF. It seems to confuse the Seat selection screen coding.

There is no gap, the business seats are simply wider then economy.

Click this seat map link for a more scaled version or download the attachment:

Flat beds to SYD-PER

Looking at booking SYD<->PER in business - all flights show A330-200 how can I tell which flights would have flat beds? (Note search this thread and whole forum but could not find a hit on "flat beds to Perth")

There are two 332 with Skybeds and sixteen with Business suites. The former are configured 2x2x2, the latter 1x2x1.

It is unlikely you'll get a skybed equipped 332 on coast to coast routes. You are more likely to get one of the 10 333 subbed - these all have business suites.

All are fine for a 4 hours flight although many prefer the business suites.

My partner and I are traveling in business class Sydney Haneda return. I searched the forum for seat recommendations on 747-400 and 747-438 but couldn't find the info I need.

Sydney to Haneda, we are trying in the lower deck which is the old first class configuration. I believe they just had a refresh https://www.ausbt.com.au/qantas-refr...47-first-class.
Can someone help with the seat selection? We have 3A, 4E/F and 4K to choose from. Are we better of choosing 4E/F or 3A/4E?

Haneda to Sydney leg, we have locked in 3J/K. But after reading some of the reviews on upper deck, I am thinking about changing. 15A/B, 15J/K and 16J/K are available. Are 16J/K better seats compared to lower deck 3J/K or are they all about the same?

I'd take the 4E/F pairing.

For the return 3E/F better then 3J/K on the refurb, but I guess that not available. The other pair are much of an upper deck muchness. 16 gets you off the plane faster, 15A/B quieter than 15 J/K since not PAX behind.

Solo traveller, going SYD- AKL in J on QF143 operated by A330-.200.
Any good seat recomendations? Cabin seems quite full already (travel dates October), only rows 5-7 showing availiabilyt. Usually prefer windos seat, A or K side recomended?

Was originally booked on Emirates but since discontinued now on QF metal, what will the seat and the service be ?

They just block out rows 1-4 for high-status QF members until close to departure. You should find that and other seat info in this thread and the A330 thread.

I always choose 2a or 4a because I like the console to be on the aisle as it makes the seat very private. However as has been said rows 1-4 are really only selectable for Platinum and above at until about 48 hours prior.

Can you not select domestic seats for a flight too far in the future? I have MEL-ADL booked and when I try to select a seat it just jumps to the top of the page without doing anything.

I'm a BA/AA boy about to book my first QF flight. February 2018 J class between SYD-HKG. Should I book a 747 or A330?
