I guess that's not comfy unless the body length is correct.

a380 in Economy
Using our FF points for flights to LHR but currently trying to work out the best place in cattle class ECY for a family of four 2 Adults, 9 month and 3 year old on the a380. Is it true the Arm Rests only rise 3/4?
Any advice much is much appreciated.

Airbus A380-800 / 4-Class / First Suite / 5A
Specific Pros:
Specific Cons:
General Con of 388 F:
- Most "private" suite - not easily seen by pax in other suites (in fact, almost impossible unless they stand up; the people in 5F and 4F have some chance if they lean over a lot and don't put up the privacy screen).
- Farthest away from the bathrooms, i.e. minimises propensity of someone other than crew needing to pass by your suite.
Specific Cons:
- Not ideal seat if considering seating a couple close to each other: the F and K seats are a better bet.
- Closest to the galley and the unwashed masses in tow
- One of the last to be served meals, which is further compounded if you get the degustation.
General Con of 388 F:
- Little leg room when seat is in original forward position (cf. in-flight angled position), so if you are tall you may feel a bit crunched up during take-off and landing. (Think row 1, i.e. bulkhead, of domestic J).

A380 business seats?
Any feedback regarding pros / cons of seats 11 J & 11K on the QF A380? Travelling with a work colleague and we have just been switched over from the B744 (where we had 16 JK allocated...).
Current choice looks to be 11 JK or perhaps 12 EF.
Any comments?
Thx, tb

A380 / 4-Class / J / 25EF
Pros: the 2-row mini-cabin, 24/25, feels very private and quiet. There's more than ample overhead bin space. Most of the seats (other than 25A/K) have aisle access with no climbing. Sat in 25E/25F for MEL-LAX, and it was quite peaceful, far from the baby bassinets at the front of the "main" Biz cabin. no noise leaked forward from Prem Economy behind.. Row 24 is an exit row, but row 25 is up for grabs. We had no trouble with meal selection despite being at the rear of the queue.
Cons: bit of a hike forward to the lavs and/or lounge. service comes later as it's done front to back. could be an issue for meal choice.

744 / 4-Class / F / 2EF
this was LHR-MEL QF30 4-class sold as 3-class, so the DONE4 ticket scored F seats.
Pros: 2EF are the closest pair of F seats, so good for a pair traveling together who might wish to converse. little foot traffic once the forward closet is shut. seat is fairly comfortable for resting.
Cons: seats getting a bit shopworn. limited surfaces for "stuff" compared to seats further aft. the outlet is down by the ottoman so one might need a longer power cord than normal. if you are solo, the proximity of 2E&F would be a minus; any window seat would dominate.

A380 / 4-Class / F / 4K
Pros: vast amounts of personal space for work and relaxing. bed is both long and wide. video screen is giant. "ottoman" seat is wide and easily big enough to be a true companion seat at mealtime, unlike the 744 version. the seat massage feature is outstanding, not an afterthought like some.
Cons: Seat controls are a tad complex, can be difficult to get good foot support unless nearly in bed mode. The F and K seats both access the starboard aisle, so it will carry more traffic and be slightly less private than the A side seats which have an aisle to themselves.
