Now l think l could be wrong, but l don't remember QF ever doing a 2for1 before.
It seems only priced for Y no mention of price for PE, J and l would guess they are excluding F. The price seems Ok to good, but l wonder what booking class they would book into.

Maybe QF is begining to feel the pinch a bit.
Yet more delays with the new orders, bad run of press, those engineers, passing the batton at the top to a new boy & crashing tourism.

Yet most of the flights l have taken recently seem to all be pretty full to me and l only fly QF if l can help it.

Maybe this would be good time for QF to release more availability for classic awards or even release more A and D if they still just want to focus on hard cash .

I think we are going to see a new type of QF in the future, one that some loyal flyers would be a bit uncomfortable with. I do not know what you think, But l recon there's change in the air.
I just cannot put my finger on it.

They are also doing it from NZ.

I've done a 2-for-1 before with tht (on NZ). That one was AKL-LHR return over a weekend.

Is anyone interested in a weekend longhaul trip? PM me if interested. Fares are cheaper ex-NZ (and some allow stopover in Australia)

Use americanexpress.com.au/travel to see what booking code these are in.

Most of the long haul fares seem to be in O class.

Available ex:

Australia
Johannesburg - JNB
London - LHR
New Zealand
Singapore

Seems to cover most of QANTAS's regions except North America and Japan...

Finally, a decent sale that's not only available from Europe or North America.
Weekend in Frankfurt anyone?

Interesting... I'm thinking of booking LHR-SYD May next year.
However, a couple of questions regarding the booking process at Qantas.com, I can't seem to find my way:

How can I book with a stopover in Singapore? Using multi-city?
Is it possible to book the outbound in a class and the inbound in a different one?

Cheers

Tried to get through to the so-called WP 'Priority' line but after 30 mins listening to enthusiastic announcements, gave up.

Sorry if I'm missing something from the T&Cs but for ex LHR departures, is this only valid all the way through to Australia and back or also just to HKG / SIN?

Tried doing a few dummy bookings online and I can't find anything clearly indicating the 2 for 1 offer, or am I being dense?

Virtualtroy, I understand stopovers are allowed (although maybe at a slightly higher price).

I was also confused at first with the prices, but it seems for bookings up to 31/5, the prices shown are already 50% for each passenger. Try to make a dummy booking for after 31/5 and you will see the difference.

I can't see any difference in biz/first pricing at all...
