Why HKG to Australia loading so full
 

I was checking all the flights(CX,QF) departs from HK to Australia(BNE,SYD,MEL) this week and next week.

The loading are very full.I need fly TPE-HKG-BNE-SYD.
Anyone know the reason?

school holidays? (they are in NZ at any rate)

QLD & VIC school holidays started last weekend, this coming weekend sees NSW, SA, ACT, NT & WA commence theirs.

The Typhoon may have caused some disruptions as well but I would imagine its effect has now passed.

I was thinking maybe school holidays.Even all the J and F class are empty.

I believe vocational college holidays in NSW align with NSW school holidays, so student-visa residents here might be in transit, too.

Might post-Moon Festival (?) holidays be a part of it too?

aussies coming back from oktoberfest? ;)

First week of October is Golden Week for Mainland China.

This means that a massive increase in travel in that region and there will always be flow on effects.

Also some conventions in Hong Kong effectively doubled some accom for me this week.
