Re-route of Round-the-World ticket question

Hi, Again,

I just discovered that one of my segments (TPA-LAS) is no longer on one flight number. AA canceled direct service and has the flight connecting in DFW to another flight with a different number. I already have my round-the-world itinerary and tickets. Do I need to get my tickets re-issued or get a sticker, or can I just show up for my flight to deal with this. I am currently in the US. Thanks for any advice!

If your reservations have been automatically moved to the new flights then just turn up for the first one and I think it will be fine. Otherwise you are likely to get into debates about whether you have to pay a rerouting charge, have the ticket reissued, etc.

When I was involuntarily rerouted by AA, I just turned up at YYZ. It was their change, so their responsibility to sort out, so don't go out of your way to change anything now!
