$198.00 BNE-PERTH ONE WAY
 

So did anyone get these cross country flights on Qantas for $198, I think the dates were september 1 to the 20th.
Is this the kind of fare that we could expect from Virgin if they ever get long range aircraft, or don't get brought out by anyone in the mean time.

I understand DJ 737-700's could do BNE-PER.

AN matched those fares, and I saw lots of seats open for sale BNE-PER, MEL-PER etc at the $198 level. In fact AN was selling two levels only: N class fare at $198 one way and Y for $1300 odd. ouch!

A great deal if you got it. I was tempted but just bought a MEL-BNE tix instead.

Good luck man, i think those cheap tickets are not cancellable.

Talking about cheap tickets - im trying to get some for BNE-MEL-BNE on 2 October and there's none ! the closest tickets the net gives me is october 8 !

Richard, you're from MEL - is there anything going on there in the first week of oct ???

Try connections via SYD as the QF half hour service should have plenty of seats available.

It is grand final weekend(I think) fall out perhaps, but not really sure. Perhaps QF YM is biased against you (although I note that BNE-MEL seems to be a much harder route to get seats on on any carrier than, for example, MEL-SYD or even, believe it or not, MEL-PER in the recent "Spring" sale).
