Ff# Other Than Qf

I looked but can't find an answer in prior posts. My
apologies if answered before. I am booking a QF flight
from NRT to CNS on Qantas.com and it prompts me
to input QF FF# which I don't have. I do have an
AA #. Do I need to call QF in Tokyo to add this info
to the ticket or is there a way to input on the web?

No way to put it in on the web - just book it without the FF number, and phone QF ANYWHERE (doesn't have to be TYO) and get them to put in your AA number.

The QF website has been updated such that it does now allow addition of a frequent flyer number other than a Qantas one.

Go into Manage My Booking on the QF site , click on "Add frequent flyer number" and you can select any OW FF scheme from the drop down list

In my experience this only works if your number is numbers only (not letters)

I have seen it both work and not work with AA numbers; it may not yet be properly fixed but the facility is supposed to allow the addition of non QF FF numbers

Worked with my AA number, which consists of both letters and numbers.

Apparently the Qantas website does not know that Alaska is a partner carrier.
