Odd points on FF statement.
 

I am not sure if this is supposed to happen or not. I flew a redemption flight MEL-LHR via HKG late last month. Am I supposed to get miles for a redemption flight? (not that I am complaining!!!) ;)

I've certainly never received ff points or status credits for redemption flights..

Not letting any secrets out but QF as a business are not all that savvy ;).

I also received points and SCs for a free ticket through American Express where the T&Cs say that you will get neither. I won't complain. ;)

I've had points erroneously appear a couple of times, they got reversed at some time later - so there must be some sort of checks made. In all the cases that I recall, the crediting and reversing happened within about 6 weeks or so, and I didn't call them up to notify them (but neither do I call them up to harass them when points didn't appear, because again in all cases the points have appeared eventually).
