QF Points Query - domestic USA short hop

Any chance anyone can tell me how many ff points are needed to fly from Dallas (DFW) to San Antonio (SAT)? I am with Qantas FF program but will be flying using partner airline American Airlines next year. Thanks!

That is such a short distance that using miles to pay for the ticket is pretty worthless. A short-Hop AAward tends to be 15,000 miles.

Think you are far better off buying that ticket with cash.

OP is looking to use Qantas miles. No idea what those rates are.

Using AA miles, it's 15K from Sep-Feb, and 25K over the spring and summer months.

RT fare on that route should be about $150US.

As such, I would suggest that the Qantas board, or even their website, would have more information on this.

Cheers.

Thread moved for appropriateness. The QANTAS frequent flyers should be better able to provide this information.
