My flight AKL-WLG on 2 June was delayed from 16:50 till about 18:00 then my return flight yesterday was delayed but I managed to get on an earlier one that was on-time. Luckily I had expected QF delays so they didn't affect work!

The return of one aircraft from sched maintenance has been delayed by nearly 3 days, another aircraft stuck in melbourne because the airport closed and a further aircraft (new) due to arrive very soon.
And to top it off 1 737-400 is running permanantly out of auckland doing 116/115 and then 134/39 daily.
Domestics arent taking priority.

I hope it's not that bad when I do my mini-MR later this month (I'm tagging with someone else on that one).

I thought all 733/734 flights were operated and crewed by Jetconnect; 738 and 767(?) flights operated by QF and crewed by either QF and/or Jetconnect and all others (e.g. the 747 on the MEL-AKL-LAX route) crewed/operated by QF mainline?
Besides I'm also assuming the Jetconnect staff are only trained for the 737s and possibly the 767s as well? Which leaves the 747 to the Australian based crews?
Workflyer, perhaps you could elighten me. :-)

Jetconnect have longhaul crews, eoinnz was one, that operate on the 747.
The shorthaul crews, workflyer and a couple of others do the ZK registered 737 and the CHC crew also do the JQ A320.

Here is a general guide to what crew you may have onboard
Key:
JCSH - Jetconnect Short Haul
JCLH - Jetconnect Long Haul
AULH - Australian Long Haul
AUSH - Australian Short Haul
MAM - Australian Casual
QCCA crew for all intent and purposes of this post fall under AU LH
Domestic NZ services - JC SH
Tasman 737 services - Majority JC SH with some by either MAM or AU SH
Tasman 767 services - AU LH only or AU LH with JC LH or MAM or AU SH
In general CHC is AU LH and at least 2 of the 4 Sydney - Auckland vv services will have long haul crew onboard. You will never have a mix of LH or SH crew on a 767 (or 330 as well)
747 services can only be crewed by long haul - so if you did a domestic sector on a 747 - it would be long haul crew
In general the MEL-AKL-LAX will always have JC LH and AU LH but the ratio changes. On rare occasions they are fully crewed by AU LH only. So today might be 4 AU LH and 10 JC LH, tomorrow might be 2 AU LH and 12 JC LH
The current A330-200 services on the LAX run are long haul.
On long haul services you'll never have a JC LH CSM or CSS since these positions don't exist and won't until 2013 at the earliest
International flights operated by 767/330 with no more than 3 hours difference in time can be crewed by short haul/MAM. Now however no more than 25% of those flights can be allocated to SH/MAM
Sorry I've rambled on a bit but it is very complex. Confused? I am!!!

What's the current situation with On-Time with Jetconnect recently?
Got my MR coming up this Saturday ((WLG-AKL)*); thinking of putting through another one on the Tuesday following that ((AKL-WLG)*).
The first one is a bit of a tight-caller, with very small connection times; the second one I'm running by myself so far, so without any status I'm thinking of keeping it to 4 flights (AKL-WLG-AKL twice) but it's gonna take almost the whole day (~10 hours in airport/flying) because I'm allowing a "flight's gap" between one sector and the next.
At NZD 59 per AKL-WLG flight that's not too bad - it's not as good as NZD 39 as it was waaaay before, but as for status/points rates you've got absolutely no chance of topping that in Australia.
Experts: your opinions?

That 30 minute gap is likely the same a/c. Combined with OLCI and it might just be less risky than waiting a flight in between. Note if flying the same route more than once in a day you will need to call to get manual credit, and not all call centre staff know how to do it properly (if processed the wrong way it just returns a message already credited instead of giving the points and SCs).
