Help with Award Availability
 

Asking for a little advice on late award availibility on QF. I have an award ticket in Business booked through AA. I wan't to change an existing syd-cns flight to this flight:

QF site lists no awards for that flight. I don't care if we are in coach it will make our trip better. (It allows us to make our stopover on the outbound to catch an AFL game in Sydney the night before the outbound).

Does QF add awards as the flights get closer like AA does?

If we get things changed around, do AFL games in Sydney sell out, or should we just wait and buy when we get there?

The unavailability of S class a little more than two weeks before the flight it indicates that sales are reasonably strong.

Given that, I would not expect any award seating in coach to become available.
