Bye for now

Just a quick post to all those I have met in my short time on FT...After 10 years in Australia I am heading back to the UK for a while to open a business over there...

It was good being a semi regular on this forum and of course although I now may find myself looking at the BA and VS boards a bit more I will be popping over to the QF forum every now and then.

To those I've met and spoken to I'll see you for a beer next time I'm in Aus, and anyone heading to London feel free to PM me for a beer. :)

On a flying note..I'm heading to HKG with VS (Premium econ) then CX (J) award flight to FRA before BA (Y) on to LHR..

Cheers.

G'Day Russell,

Even though we don't really know eachother and haven't spoken before, I'd still like to say - I wish you all the best ^

Have a great time and enjoy your flights [expect to see a trip report.. :D ]

Take Care
David

Russell Corr, thanks for the prompt to read the QF Forum today.

As somebody who has had the pleasure of meeting Russell a couple of times at FT functions, and drinks on the Gold Coast; it'll be sorry to see you leave Australia (but thankfully not this Forum).

Next time Mrs QF WP and I are going to be in the UK, we'll let you know. Looks like one of her best friends is getting married in November, so we're a slim possibility for this year.

How did Mrs RC and your father-in-law take the news?? (I know his father in law)

Thanks QF WP, and yes i look forward to having drinks in the UK with you at some point.

Mrs RC very happy...loves England. Father-in-law not overly impressed but understands...he's currently in Hawaii so goodbyes already said.

Nice meeting you at Oz Fest Russell, and hope you stay in OZ around long enough for the next one in May!

Best wishes for the USA, and please do not drink their beer. ;)

Goodbye, or hello

Well, there are a couple of QFs stuck in London and we do not seem to be able to break away back down under.

So, come up and say hello! Wherever you are on the 1W network, you are not safe from the wandering QF FFs!

PS, remember that there is a Mega-DO in London in November

Best Wishes for the move

Russell,
It has been very good to meet you on a number of occaisons. All the very best to you and the family for your move back to Old Blighty. Hope your new business works out well.
I'm sure our paths will cross, and please pop back here when you can.
All the best. John.
(Posting via the free wifi at Tampa airport this morning.)

Good luck from me, too, Russell - and an advance welcome to the UK.

There's quite a few of us here who read both the BA and QF boards.
