It could have been the whole a/c had no IFE for one of those flights, or maybe the FAs noted down the wrong seat with an IFE issue to follow up.

I commented about a recent IFE failure via the feedback mechanism on the website, and they're going to send me a couple of La Premiere cinema passes (this was down the back on PER-SYD). I suspect that everyone else in my row wasn't so lucky.
