Checked through baggage
 

Hi,

I'm thinking of travelling Qantas domestic to Syd then connecting to CX Hong Kong flight with onward connection to Taipei. These will be on separate e-tickets - CX and QF. Will QF agent be able to offer checked through baggage even though its separate PNR?

Yes, QF can through-check with CX. Just make sure you have a print out of the e-ticket itinerary with you when you check in so the QF agent can see the CX flight details.

Hi there

Last Sat 29/10 i was flying QF10 & LA 800 MEL-SYD-AKL on 2 seperate tickets, one was an e-ticket (QF in Y) the other was a paper ticket (LA in J)

The LAN flight had not opened for check-in at 0500 so the agent checked me in for the QF codeshare which was open.

The agent also said as i had a J class connection i could use the QP at MEL intl. Didn't matter as i am OW Sapphire , but was good to know anyway ^
