Help with hotel
 

I'm sure this probably isn't the correct thread to post. But believe it or not, we have 2 first class tic's to Australia beginning 2/4/06. (not on Qantas, but on Air Tahiti Nui) :p . We will be visiting Tasmania, Melborne, Hayman Island and Sydney. I know that y'all have been EXTREMELY helpful in other desitation info. Please suggest cost effective, local hotels. 3* or better. Thanks so much for your help.
PS. where should we stay in Sydney for our departure. Don't need a great hotel... just a quiet one close to the airport, we leave at 10:35am. :confused:

Most of these are discount rates sites offering rooms for the next 2 weeks, but they will give you an idea on what is available and costs

Booking direct with the hotel can cost less than booking with the sites above. Try the major chains- www.starwood.com etc

SYD airport is only 20-30 minutes from the city centre, so you could stay in the city and still get a 10:35am flight.
