You are flying LAX to AUH via SYD?!,?! You do realise that after you first 14 or so hour flight (which is overnight) you will essentially be no closer to your destination? I like F as much as the next person but I would take J to avoid a 7,500 mile detour. Have I missed something?

I hope you are spending time in SYD?

I understand wanting to experience QF F, but I would be immensely lowering my expectations n comparison to the ME3 and others.

Did you end up flying Qantas first class in the end?
