QF43 very weird flight pattern

looking at it on flightradar.
It circled around, now descending below 5000ft and seeming to land at Katherine Tindal Airport KTR.

Prompt descent around 10:46 UTC to 12,000’ and descent over sea north of Darwin, followed by a climb and several holds before landing Tindall.

it’s not uncommon at this time of year with tropical rainstorms

the real question is what caused it to not continue to Denpasar as scheduled- medical perhaps?

edit to add: sounds like a fairly wild night at Darwin with a borderforce dash calling PAN with a pack issue and problems with the arrester cables on both runways and issues with the weather monitoring equipment?!
