Old people matter more than young? Think that equation is reversed.
As someone who has served in military and made hard choices, your logic is flawed.

Australia is not a military dictatorship. Politicians pander to marginal constituencies.

Morrison will lose the government over this. Mark my words.
Joyce should be engaging a biker club to sort him...

[mod hat] I hope you all got out of your system what you wanted to get out of. If your post isn't advancing our understanding of the boarder closures and how QF is effected, then please don't post here. [/mod hat]

1. last time I looked QF said that international flights to eg. UK, USA, will restart around mid Dec 2021 (was it 18 or 19Dec ?)

2. NSW premier said a week ago, that NSW should reach 70% vaccinated by late Oct (2 months away) & 80% by mid Nov 2021 & everything should be back to normal by then, BUT vaccination rates have increased lately, so should be sooner & no premier wants to be last to open their state, as they'll look even more stupid than they look now.

Admirable optimism. I sincerely hope you are right but there is something in my head that says “ ‘ya dreaming”.

The politicians do more about faces than a ballerina caught in a revolving door. I wouldn’t trust any “plan” until the day it happens - no matter whether it’s state or Commonwealth leadership.
