Use of Points to redeem Lounge Pass? (Or other recommended "small" redemption?)
Long time between posts, and really have lost track of the ins and outs of QFF best options. After some quick guidance, oh wise ones.
Would usually never use points for redemptions other than flights, but under current circumstances really don't want to guesstimate forward plans (given that I've not seen any nice blanket statement about unconditional waiver of change fees on QF forward bookings - please correct me if wrong, as could always pop a domestic return in the system if it had unconditional change without penalty for, say, 12 months).
Does QF offer points redemption for a one time Lounge pass?
I've seen the offer of just under 10k points to redeem a $50 flight voucher with 30 month validity.
And why? Need to log some activity to stave off points expiration. Not trivial just now for overseas based members!

Has been reported before that if you phone and ask for a new physical QF loyalty card it will cost 1000 points (=activity). No idea if that is still the case
Au residents can join Hoyts Reward program (movies), link QF account and get 100 QF points. QF points credit in 24 hours IME [An eligible QF activity??]

I look after some ff accounts for some family members, not resident in AU, who will have the same problem with QF ff points expiry in a few months time.

Thank you. Yes, have had a good trawl through the QF site already. Just wanted to double check with the assembled knowledge base here about Lounge Pass - just because I couldn't find it in a rather convoluted site layout didn't mean it didn't exist! You guys would know......
