Confused about QF bagagge allowance Gold

Hi there, I am just a little confused. I am travelling a lot with one world airlines as gold and on the weight system I get an extra 20kg as gold (one world sapphire) yet if I travel with Qantas they only give me 16 kg extra on my 30kg. So am I right that Qantas gives One world emeralds ( non qantas) 50kg on weight system and 46 kg to its own one world emeralds? your insights would be appreciated

As SG (Qantas Gold) / oneworld Sapphire you are entitled to an extra 15kg (not 20kg) when travelling on oneworld airlines (other than QF). Emeralds get the 20kg, Sapphires only 15kg.

When you travel on QF as a QF SG, you get an extra 16kg, so one kg more than what would be required under oneworld rules. As a Platinum you get an extra 20kg more which is consistent with the normal oneworld allowance for Emeralds.

And if that 1 or 2 kg matters, there are suitcases which weigh 1-2 kg less (of course these are more expensive).

Sapphires only get +15kg not +16kg. This is what's programmed in the departure control system.

I never said Sapphires get 16kg extra. A Qantas Gold gets this on QF flights.
