Bug Bites on Qantas A380 SYD-LAX

I arrived into LAX from SYD (in J) yesterday morning and just around landing time I began to feel some itching/discomfort around my ankles. Anyway, I took my socks off later to find the below - I had been eaten during the flight here and on both feet.

Had changed into PJs during the flight and all my things were ziplocked.

Have Twitter dm’d Qantas but no response. Needless to say I’m extremely p&&&&d off.

I'm thinking flea bites, perhaps from a support mutt or a stowaway bubonic plague ridden rat. If you start to feel feverish or develop swelling in your armpits, see a doctor. But I'm guessing.

I would go straight to a doctor to seek a medical opinion. That may provide some evidence in your dealings with QF.

Similar to $10,000 for a bed bug nightmare!!!? If yes, that CX case was settled.

I wouldn’t expect anything from QF. This is based on their (zero) follow-up after friends were sick after a SFO-SYD flight and QF were notified.

Rpezman24 (CX case) sued CX in the US. OP headed to US, does he live there?

PM Rpezman24 and see whether your cases are similar. If yes you can recycle his materials

I wonder if they have any left-over cans of spray that they used to walk down the aisles with? I might get them to fumigate my seat on my next flight.

It was just written that the case was settled. The OP did not provide any proof for that settlement.

Again, no proof was provided by Rpezman24.

Different state too (NY vs CA)

Still no harm for OP to try.

If settled, there is almost certainly a confidentiality clause in relation to the settlement which would preclude this.

Rpezman24 filing is probably part of the docket already? The settlement is probably NDAed.

Getting the filing will be helpful.

maybe it was an "emotional" support flea or other insect, that just wanted to get to know you?
(OP.. really sorry , no one needs to go thru that)
