First pictures of the refurbished a380

Pictures and an article showing the new A380 interior can be found here :

Looks quite nice in my opinion, even the minor First refresh looks good.

I think that these are simply QF's own publicity photos, available on the QF website.

It will be interesting to see some "in the wild" photos, when these start getting published.

Absolutely, agreed, the genuine passenger pictures will be telling, but the piblicity shots do look positive.

They're just doing their job, then! :D

I just can’t wait to try those “mini first class” seats. And who is the Frequent Flyer responsible for this term? At least we seem to have moved beyond “game changers”. Now to wait some years until all the 380s offer a consistent product.

Now, can QF please focus on a new safety video?

Maybe AJ himself - or Qantas Publicity.

Perhaps a "Straw Man".

I'm very looking forward to the 5th freedom flight from "Sydney and London via Singapore." ^

Do we know if these are CGI renderings or photos of the the hard product? I'm guessing renderings, but anybody know for sure?

They are real photos provided by Qantas PR and available on the Qantas site.
The first aircraft VH-OQK is in operation.

I was lucky enough to get a refurbished A380 on QF128 in December and snagged one of four bulkhead window seats. These are fantastically spacious for Business Class as you can see from the photos below.

Thanks for the pics. That bulkhead foot space is amazing, how does it compare to the 787 bulkhead seats?

Also does the seating feel more spacious in the bigger A380?

I've only flown in a standard window seat on the Dreamliner so can't do a direct comparison, but can say the larger gap between your head and the fuselage (roughly the width of the side storage bins) on the A380 upper deck makes the seat feel a lot more spacious.

Thanks for the 787 seat pic for a reference. The A380 bin space definitely makes it looks more spacious.

Note that the A380 was of a bulkhead seat - for seats further back, the foot wells are smaller since they need to slot in limited space under the seat in front.

The 789 bulkheads seats also have this type of additional space.

Yeah I’m aware of bulkhead seats, I try to only book these seats with Qantas.
