Lounge access at SFO

Some blogs [1] report QF pax in J now have access to the CX lounge at SFO. However, I can't find info on this on QF's website (only lists AF/KLM lounge) [2].

Can anyone confirm?

If yes, is bringing a guest (on the same flight, but not in J) allowed? QF website says yes [3], but they also don't mention the CX lounge so maybe it has different rules...

Thanks in advance.

Surely it’s acceptable under OW rules?

that it may have traditionally discouraged is another thing entirely

I don’t have any status with OW would be relying solely on whatever my ticket entitles me to. Are there OW rules that you can always bring a guest?

Cathay’s website says access for passenger (based on class of service) but no guest

Access to the CX lounge at SFO when on QF has been problematic in the past. Less so in recent times.

However, Class of service access would be by way of oneworld rules and they provide for no guest when traveling in Business class.

YouR guest would need to be able to access the lounge in their own right (either sapphire/emerald & traveling oneworld or traveling oneworld in business/first class).

Thanks all. Sounds like no CX lounge for me (and my companion). Oh well, it's only two hours or so.

Last year in August my wife and I were flying out of SFO to SYD in J. When we checked in we were given invitations to the CX lounge. I said to the check in agent, "I thought Qantas partnered with the Air France lounge here...". The agent said "use the CX one, it is much nicer!"
I don't know if that was because they were putting all J pax in the CX lounge or if it was because I have Qantas Gold/oneworld Sapphire.

I flew in and out of SFO back in July and used the CX Lounge (it's where the check in staff also directed us), I was flying Premium Economy on Gold at the time and had no trouble getting in there and signing a Silver colleague in as a guest.

Lounge was pretty quiet, and as lounges go, was OK, not the best, but perfectly acceptable.

Is there a Priority Pass lounge available in the Qantas terminal at SFO? Can you get to the AMEX Centurion Lounge in Terminal 3 without passing through security?

There's the Air France/KLM lounge. It has some restrictions as to entry times and can get crowded. For a Qantas evening flight, you can only get in between 3:30-6:30pm and 8:30-11:45pm.

No.
OK, so the AMEX Lounge doesn't work and the only PP lounge available is AF/KLM? If so, I think I'm kind of hosed by those time restrictions at AF.
