QF Travel Card load = lounge pass
 

Does it seem that QF are devaluing their Intl J Lounge more and more rapidly? First the 18-35 offer, now load currency. What next?

Not sure that there are that many people loading $5,000 onto their cards that it is going to make much difference to lounge numbers.

How can it get more "devalued"
It allows business class and 1st class passengers into the lounge, but them also allows a large number of people who have

OW Emerald Status
OW Sapphire Status
Qantas Club Memberships
1 time lounge access passes for those attaining/retaining QF Silver Status

One time lounge accesses for those of age 18-35 or those prepared to waste a fair bit loading $5000 onto a prepaid scam card are hardly likely to make much of a difference

If wanting to value its lounges , it would do like some airlines and have decent lounges that are generally restricted to those travelling in the class of service ( e.g. WY 1st lounge or QR's business lounge in LHR )

Qantas lounges are hardly that great
