Compensation for delayed baggage

does anyone know what the compensation rates are for lost luggage if you are travelling on business?

12hrs $100AUD?
24hrs $200
48hrs $300?

is that right?

what happens after 48hrs?

thanks

Still no bags and now I leave in a couple of hours.

Got the $300AUD comp. but in reality it covers jack all.

The only issue i got I got now I return to LHR is that I put my only jacket I own in my case.

And now now I am going to freeze when I return home. Also I am a bit of a frugal guy and don’t actually own that much clothing.

I only own 3 pairs of jeans and 2 of those were in my suitcase......

So if I don’t get my bags back ASAP I will need to buy new clothes for home.

In addition the clothes I had to buy here I no longer have a case to put them in! Luckily the office here gave me a cardboard box to put them in.

What a pain. Gawd I hate Qantas so much.

Assuming that this was an international trip, then the airline is liable for costs up to XDR1131 ( approx $2200 )

Class of service is irrelevent. The airline will not offer that much, but if you incur costs, it is liable

Purchase what you need and send scanned receipts with a claim to Qantas

But BA lost your bag. In SIN?
Has world tracer given any indication on where the bag is?
Have you informed them on your UK address?
