Pjs on day flight?

Hi,

Sorry if this has been covered but I couldn't find it searching through the forums. I'm booked in J on QF29 MEL - HK in April and was wondering if anyone knows if Qantas still give out pyjamas even though it's a day flight?

In general no as it's a day flight, you will get them on the overnight returns from Asia. Although you can always ask.

I believe you do get them on QF117 and QF1 to SIN

Thanks. That’s a shame. I’m coming back with Cathay. So I guess I’ll just have to take with an old pair.

i have not seen that many who changes into PJ on day flight.

Also the PJ quality has cheapened a lot in last few years, it is great for washing cars but not so much for wearing.

It looks like QF is now giving PJs on daytime flights to Asia :)

Better than nothing I guess but I dont think this was a common ask from business class passengers?

They are supposed to be improving the food offering in all classes from March so it'll be interesting to see what happens - details are sparse!

Might need the PJs to save the good clothes from drips and spills.

whoop de do. I find the fascination with airline pyjamas weird in itself, but why would someone need them on a daytime flight from Australia to Asia

i dont wear PJ at home during the day. I travel in cOmfort cloth anyways. But for those immediately coming from meeting in an office attire, PJ may be useful. I would pass PJ on day flight to save enviornment

Because you've paid for a flat bed!.... if you decide to take a nap or go to sleep, pyjamas would seem logical from a comfort and wrinkling your clothes point of view. (Unfortunately birthday suit sleeping may not be an option). If you don't want a flat bed because it's a day flight, fly W or Y.

Love it, handing out PJs is a great fix for QFs inability to do anything for the first hour of an intl J flight. Give em PJs, while 30 odd people queue for 3 labs, they will not notice the lack of service……
