Thanks to QF staff who looked after us and made us welcome. Thanks also to the back room catering group who put together the trays of snacks which were most appreciated. QF WP gets a special thanks for the arrangements and companionship. It was a most enjoyable afternoon and it was great to meet friends old and new.
And, on a serious note, this is only the second time in 17 years (?) that I can recall a serious discussion - this year’s being next year’s meeting date. The earlier one being what two letter initials should be assigned to each membership level.

As I said in my speech, the meeting is a combination of me arranging and the membership for turning up (sometimes at a reasonable expense). Whilst I have the contacts and desire to arrange, this will continue to be Flyertalk's longest running get-together in Australia.
Have sent off an email to Linda (QC Manager) and Elsa (Regional Manager): "Just wanted to thank you and your Qantas Club staff for hosting our get together on Saturday afternoon. Taylor (one of the Accor staff) was fantastic and she along with all the QC and Accor staff made sure we were welcomed and well looked after."
I'll now arrange the next AGM thread, so this will be one of the longest running threads before the actual event.
