KittyCat gets my vote only if he can bash a few heads together to ensure that hot towels are offered in a consistent manner on all QF International flights. How easy can that be!

Very easy to implement - just remove the hot towels altogether

I was hoping for the positive customer friendly solution rather than the negative. But, yes, total removal of the towels will achieve the desired consistency. Be careful of what you wish for!
