747 to the desert
Hello, I just read that on Sept. 26th one of the 747s made its last flight from BNE to LAX and off to the desert. In November I am flying this route and previously posted about the aircraft change to a 747 (Nov. 24th) that seemed odd. This appears to be the only day the 74 is flying this route in the weeks before or after. It is now a 787 route.
Just checking to see if there are any Qantas insiders here who would have an educated guess if it will be a retirement flight.
Is so, it would be interesting (and a bit sad).
Thanks

This is in addition to the daily am QF15 BNE/LAX service which has been operated by the 789 effective Sat 01 Sep 2018.
