Surfergold QFF on oneworld
Iast membership year ARM/SYD/HBA/DRW/PER/SYD/ARM/SYD/DUB/LHR on Qantas Walk About. Then LHR/HEL/HKG/HEL/LHR on AY. Then LHR/HND/LHR on JL got me Siver QFF. This membership year LHR/PER/GET/PER/LHR on QFF Bussiness. LHR/PHL/FLL/PHL/LHR on AA part Business to get Gold QFF three months in to my Silver membership year. My Question is when Gold QFF package arrives in the post will the gold card include my next membership year or just this year? :) |
It will include next membership year too. I made Platinum 2 weeks after my membership rolled over and my card has an April 2020 expiry date.

I am four months into Silver and have just attained Gold Status having 775 total. Will I have to get the 625 Status points this memberships year or do I have till the end of my Gold membership year next year, 20 months to get 625 points to get Platinum status ? |

At the end of your QF year the SC's are set to zero. So then you start to earn SC's again to requalify You need to have 4 QF or eligible JQ flights in your QF year for status. As from your profile you live in UK (when not flying) that needs to be considered |

Just to be 100% clear ... There are different levels required to initially earn status to that required to retain status. As you've hit 775 SCs in four months - and earned Gold in the process - you have 8 months to earn the 625 SCs to achieve Platinum this membership year. At the end of your membership year, your SCs will reset. Your Gold status will roll-over into the new membership year and you will have 12 months to earn the 600 SCs to *retain* Gold for the following membership year. Next year you will require 1400 SCs to earn Platinum still. Hope this helps, Regards, BD |
