Creative lounge access in Dubai
 

Just wondering if there is a way to get lounge access in Dubai for someone arriving from Uganda in Business class with a 4 hour layover and then flying economy to Adelaide? The trip will be an award flight and I doubt business will be available for the whole trip and seeing as it's from 10pm to 2am, if there's a way to get lounge access it would be extremely beneficial.

Wouldn't this be better placed in the EK Forum?? - supposing the flight in from Uganda is EK and the onward Y to ADL is direct.
Issuing (award) carrier probably has little to do with the flight logistics.

Assume traveller is not Qantas Club or Gold/Plat.

Otherwise I believe there are some pay lounges in DXB airport but some distance from the terminal areas EK uses

The EK lounges also allow pay per use

For someone with no lounge access rights
access to Business lounge $100
access to First lounge $200

For someone with business lounge access rights
access to First lounge $100

The fee to upgrade to 1st lounge includes the member's guest (if holding status that permits a guest)
