Where is your mate located?
Just look for a short flight from nearest airport. Will have option for an award fight.

Has been reported that asking for a new QF ff card costs 1000 points and resets the clock. Your mate could phone QF ffp & ask.
With ~15 days to the end of the month better something done sooner rather than later.

Would anyone who can get the Classic Rewards points calculator to work be so kind as to let me know the points required for a Partner Classic Reward on QR DOH-CDG rtn in both F and J please?

If the calculator isn't working, the tables at https://www.qantas.com/fflyer/dyn/fl...flight-rewards should allow calculation of the awards in conjunction with great circle mapper
e.g. for DOH-CDG on QR which is 3091 miles
From Partner table
Zone 4 for 2,401-3,600 miles
Economy 28,000
Premium Economy 42,000
Business 53,000
1st 53,000
