Earning Qantas points on a BA/QR mix
Hi all,
I'm going to Africa later this year and the best price is on QR, however it is N class which doesn't earn anything on QFF.
I've found on the American Express Travel website the exact same flights but sold as a BA codeshare ticket. All flights operated by QR but all flights have BA flight numbers. It is still in N class, but N class earns on BA.
I was wondering if I will earn as per the BA chart? When I go onto the calculator it will only show the Doha - Africa flight as a QR so not sure it will totally work.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks!

If looking to earn to QF the QF ffp chart is what counts. What a flight/booking fare class earns to the BA ffp is irrelevant.

In Oneworld the ff earnings are determined by the marketing flight number/booking fare class, if an eligible flight. An BA flight number on a QR operated flight would be eligible, subject to fare booking class.
