Qantas Rewards with BA Status
 
Hi, looking for a bit of advice here.
I have booked some reward flights with some Qantas points I have had stockpiled, and also have BA Gold status.

Will I be able to use my BA baggage allowance on these flights or am i bound to my qantas status (basic).?

If you can get your BA number into the booking then your oneworld benefits should be available.

You may be able to simply call Qantas.

I was recently able to "force" my QF number into a reward booking made using AA points by using the Finnair website "manage booking" facility when the AA FF number was showing as default FF on the initial booking: I am LTG with QF and nothing with AA so wanted the QF number to show.

This trick may or may not work for you...
