A VPN to a non-USA site solves the problem of the calculator not working in the USA.

SC listed on itinerary?
Looking at my QF bookings, both on the website and on the confirmation email/pdf attachment, I cannot find the associated status credits anywhere. Am I missing it? TIA

To work out SC's you might try to use the 'calculator' - but I don't trust it.
You need to know the fare bucket for each segment.
You need to know the marketing carrier for each segment.
You need to know the Operating carrier for each segment.
That can be obtained, once booked, from www.qantas.com/yourbooking .
Then look up the fare family for each segment here:
Qantas and Jetstar fare Family: https://www.qantas.com/fflyer/dyn/fl...as-and-jetstar
and here:
Partner Airlines fare Family: https://www.qantas.com/fflyer/dyn/fl...rtner-airlines
Once done, you can then work out the segment category (Between specific ports or distance) and then SC's here:
Qantas and Jetstar Segment Category Earn: https://www.qantas.com/fflyer/dyn/fl...-earning-table
and here:
Partner Airlines Segment Category Earn: https://www.qantas.com/fflyer/dyn/fl...-earning-table
Simpler and Fairer? Definitely not with the former and only to QFF with the latter.

"Please note that the Qantas Points calculators are temporarily unavailable for customers in the US region" (just checked again)
Has said this for at least a year. Don't even a chance to enter a flight.
