Very bloody ordinary in my opinion.
The Wing sounds good to me and I’d be praying for the impossible : Coopers green.

i thought QF lounge is open air (part of terminal) not enclosed and perhaps airport climate control was weaker? doubt its QF fault....

It is open to the terminal; the Wing is too.

Maybe a Pier excursion in such circumstances?

Not much QF can do about it, you're right that it's open to the terminal. Surprised that HK has such poor climate control - with that massive expanse of glass in front of it its fairly easy to predict the issue and address it.

I think they have done very well to condition air in that huge terminal. It’s better than BKK.

And KLA, which is invariably a stinker.

There wasn't enough ventilation (or Little Creatures iPA) to get rid of this stinker at the HKG lounge Mon afternoon.

Isn't there a dress (footwear) code enforced at QF lounges?

Totally agree, unfortunately the QF lounge seems to accumulate assorted Bogans that have no respect for others. Apparently the late evening flights turn the lounge into a slumber party with assorted Pax modelling their freeby Airline PJs before the red-eye flights. Can you imagine this in any other National Carrier's premium lounges?

SQ would probably boot these people out.

This is not just about behaviour, it's about creating the right ambience.

Nasty. That would require a few strong Canecutters cordials to blank out. Little Creatures just not up to the job.
