i have noticed that like 10 people on QF163 other than business got premium Headphones. Who get them? Platinum Ones?

The noise cancelling headsets are a product offered in First/Business/Premium Economy. I have seen many people wearing the last version of these in Y so they have obviously taken them as they haven't been in circulation for a few years now. While they may be given out if asked for, and even proactively by some crew, officially they are not part of the product offering in economy, even for Platinum/Ones. On some flights headsets are double loaded for the next sector and by giving out a bunch it may leave the next flight short. FYI they will not work on the 787-9 in Y as they are three pin headsets and the seats have only 2 pin jacks.
