I mentioned at yesterdays 15th Annual AGM that I wanted to switch the venue to SYD for next year and gave an idea of the possible tours in mind, I think I can safely say that almost without exception that it was a resounding "YES PLEASE " from attendees. In fact, it may end up being a weekend, rather that just an afternoon given the thoughts that flowed from some attendees with the subsequent beverages.

I have already discussed some of my ideas with my QF contacts and will be working with them to see if the Tour(s) can be arranged. I will need to include quite a number of different areas, if my plans come off. I have also had offers of assistance from on the ground SYD members [([B]og), access to their QF contacts (el_rooto, thoughts on additional tours (gwilli1 and was it Leumas? and the dinner organiser (Storyteller) ].

Some of the proposed ideas in planning:

1. Tour of the Qantas HQ
2. Tour of Hanger 96 (or similar)
3. Tour of Wolloongong Aviation Museum - including possible chartering flights (Dash 8 or similar) to Illawarra Regional Airport and return.
4. AGM and/or Tour of Qantas Heritage Museum on Level 1 of SYD T3 (The Qantas Heritage Collection can be hired for small events and meetings of up to 60 people).

When: Saturday, 24th and (possibly) Sun 25th February 2018
