Transfering points/miles from multiple airlines?

Just started looking at flying to Australia returning via Auckland to US and found that 2 of my miles accounts and 1 Citi can transfer to Quantas.

So if I transfer miles and points from Alaska air, Thank You Premier and AA can they all go into ONE Quantas account?

Presumably you mean "Qantas".

Typically, you do not "transfer" miles/points to a Qantas account. Rather, you make a booking with the entity that holds your miles (AS, AA, ...) for travel on Qantas. For example, when you search for award flights on aa.com, Qantas flights should show up.

Actually transferring miles/points to a Qantas account is likely to be circuitous and expensive, if possible at all.

The Qantas (without the u) frequent flyer program is very poor. If you live in USA a frequent flyer program of a USA based airline will be better. Look at post 330 here

If you fly Qantas you can get credit to the frequent flyer program of QF, AA , AS or a range other airlines, if an eligible flight. But check the earnings.
If you want an award flight on Qantas you can uses miles/points from the frequent flyer program of QF, AA , AS or a range other airlines, subject to award availability and the ffp t&c's.

Effectively you cannot transfer ff miles from one ffp to another airlines ffp.
Some credit card programs allow transfer of points to various airline/hotel loyalty programs.
SPG is used by some to move points. (Looks like you have to sign into to SPG to see the full list of airlines)

AS and AA allow redemption of awards on QF, they don't allow transfer of points to QFF. You'd have to consolidate into either AS or AA to get enough points for the award you want, as mentioned there are various ways to do this but generally not advantageous.

Getting awards to Australia from USA is probably the hardest award redemption there is, as lots of other US-based people have the same idea (esp. for F awards). Good luck.

Thanks for the responses.. I had received a newsletter saying how one could get a percentage bonus point on transferring Thank You Premier points to a partner airline and Qantas was one of them.

I have never been on this website or attempted to use miles to fly there.
Is there a way to see how many points + cash or just points on that site?
Seems like you have to pay to join to get access using classic flight rewards??
Is that correct?

What other USA based frequent flyer programs can you transfer to?
Don't be sucked in by a bonus offer to a poor ffp.
Frequent flyer miles are not equal to earn or burn.

Does this refer to Qantas ffp?
Only Aust & NZ people need to pay to join the QF ffp. No cost for others.
You need to join the QF ffp to use QF points.
QF have high cash surcharges on most award flights.

I very much doubt that your miles account can transfer to Qantas..
They may be able to redeem awards on Qantas, but not transfer

Yes, I got it now.. from previous posts.. but it does look like I can use Thank You Premier points but with the links ( AwardACe.com) that were posted above to check and compare programs what takes AA 50k is 60K with Qantas...

So I thank again everyone's posts.. seems like I will stick with AA and AS to book my flights.

And with QF awards you need to pay $$$ surcharge. AA has no surcharge, unless a BA flight.

Anyway having multiple ffp’s with low balances is never a good idea. You never get enough ff miles/points to be of use before they expire. FFP’s are for the long term. Even AA & AS are partners so you have a cross over. However at times it makes sense to have a ff membership with an airline in another alliance. (e.g. Oneworld & Star)
