When to arrive at PER

I am booked on the QF71 to SIN at 12.15pm with hand luggage only. If checked in online, what is the latest I could arrive at the airport as I'd like to get in a bit of work at the office in the morning?

Check-in closes 90 mins (60 mins if you're in J) before departure. Recommended time is 2 hours.

Thanks for that. But if I have already checked in online and have no luggage to check in, theoretically I could just arrive 30mins or however long it takes to get through immigration/security and up to the gate?

Arriving say 15 minutes before boarding time starts reduces the chance that you will be at the back of the Priority queue and risk not finding enough overhead space for your stuff.

If you plan to arrive at the last minute but get stuck in traffic (e.g. there's been an accident) then you'll likely miss the flight.

Then OP could return to his office for more work to be done.

Yay! (You're not my boss, are you?)

Thanks for the replies. Consensus appears to favour not cutting it too fine.
