QF Web site partly down
Cant get any sense out of the QF web site - in spite of a banner saying that we should book and manage bookings with confidence (even though I can't do these basic functions). Suppose nothing will change until the IT boffins arrive at work tomorrow. Way to go

It displays flights and prices for me briefly, then bounces back to the homepage. Broken :(
Not a great day for Qantas really... |
It's been a bit flaky all day. Hopefully rights itself by tomorrow as I have bookings to make by July 22nd

I'm tempted to ask whether the bit that's down is the bit that's hosting The Book.
;) :p |

If you call up and book and say it's because the website isn't working do they not waive the booking fee? Or do they just tell you to keep waiting until it's fixed and try again?

Flight status is not working. Either that or there are no flights SYD-MEL today.
EDITED: it's working again |
Can't even see the flights to book from NZ, just ticks over to the same page you just came from. Is this just a phase or normal for qantas? I've fed back to them YET AGAIN about how wonderful their website is. It's not the first time, probably won't be the last. It's honestly become my number one gripe with Qantas is their IT.

Dear QF (or even Red Roo)
Please fix your crappy web site. I would like to make some bookings but I can't ("we are experiencing difficulties...."). I can get standard reservations, but when going via "log in", it craps itself. |
I noticed a weird thing the other day that my desktop (apple) wouldn't show the one way button, yet my iPad mini did.

Qantas Movies website?
Somewhat OT but doesn't seem worth a new thread.
I've been trying to log on to the https://movies.qantaspoints.com/ site to buy movie vouchers. I click the "login" link at the top of the page, fill in my member number, name and PIN in the pop-up window, click "login", and the window disappears. But the site doesn't recognize me - it still says I have to login to start a transaction. I've tried this both starting cold at the movies.qantaspoints page and by starting from the (logged in) Qantas FF page (where it recognizes me). I've also tried with a (deliberately) wrong PIN and the login script gave a "wrong details" error message. So (when I use the right PIN) it's actually recognizing me but not allowing me to proceed. Anyone else having problems? I contacted the qantaspoints.com and they suggested I change my PIN (which didn't help - duh ) or ring the QFF number (which I can do as a last resort :( ). |
