There was a suggestion made - during a discussion between myself, QF WP and one of the QF managers - that at the 2016 AGM, there could possibly be a tour of the flight catering kitchen.
Just in case this eventuates, I have found this video. All I can say is BRING IT ON (although I don't fancy having to wear all of that food safety cr@p they are wearing!)

thadocta, awesome find. I'm thinking of having lunch at QCatering rather than the Breakfast Creek Hotel - hey, I'd be involved in a tasting focus group, wouldn't you @:-)
There's nothing to say that I won't organise this Catering event later this year, rather than waiting until 2016. I also met the new BNE QC Manager a couple of weeks ago, so now have another layer of management covered.
As for the 2016 AGM date, trying to please the majority of the people is important, otherwise numbers might dwindle. However, I know that it's been 3 or 4 years since og has able to come to one - he must like going on his RTW at that time . I don't have any issue with og's suggestion of a new date - as for the new school year (having kids at primary school, that would be at the end of week 2 of the new term). But history is important to preserve - or are we going to be flexible?

QF WP, you may need to consider the date of another planned event in Australia:
Hunter Valley Wine Tasting (Sat 20th Feb 2016) | Australia Frequent Flyer
I know you'll want to attend both ...

I quite like og's suggestion of early March, trying to get a Saturday off so close the end of the January tennis month is usually problematic, so March will be easier.
Thoughts?

First weekend in March works for me. Haven't been to one of these in ages.
