The Chicken pie
I had the chicken pie for lunch on QF in Y today.
The crew seemed puzzled by it. It was variously described by 3 FAs to people around me as "Chicken and meat", "Chicken and leak", and "Chicken and fennel". I assume only one type of pie was loaded. Mine had a small piece of green "stuff" in it (I assume something vegetable). But surprisingly, it had pieces of chicken. The pastry was nice, so was the contents. Best of all, I managed to eat it without it dribbling on my shirt. Well done QF with this simple but tasty catering. It is a bit short on what I would have preferred for lunch, but the pie, apple and drink was a satisfying light lunch. |
Since your pie had green stuff in it and it didn't dribble on your shirt - I suspect it was chicken and leek (rather than leak):D
