Lounge access for night-time JQ international ex-MEL?
Is there any airside lounge that a QF WP flying on a JQ international flight from Melbourne after the QF Business/First lounges have closed (after 18:00)?

None for status based access that I am aware of.
Only realistic option is to use the domestic QP/JL in T1 before heading over for emmigration about an hour before the flight. Even then that may close after 8pm.
It's even worse for the JQ flight to AKL that departs around 11pm.

That is the very flight I'm thinking of, because there is no business class cabin anyway, and therefore non-status-based access isn't even possible either.
Never mind, I just have to do what you have suggested if I must fly JQ at night or just put up and shut up (lack of lounge access has never killed anyone, I'm sure), or just avoid them altogether. Not the sort of flight that's pleasant to do anyway.
