8 course tasting menu on QF2?

I'm looking forward to my first flight on the A380 in a couple of weeks. I've heard the tasting menu is great - the website says it's available

"* on selected flights"

does this include QF2 LHR-SYD?

Anyone had it and recommend? Thanks

As far as I know the tasting menu (I've had it, and yes it is rather nice) is only available ex-SYD/MEL (in F).

Happy to be corrected but I think that is the case. If you are travelling back same airline/class then you can look forward to having it then.

Correct, looks like it is available on the SYD/MEL to Singapore and SYD/MEL to Los Angeles legs only.

Oh well, I'm sure the normal F menu is great.

Thanks for posting

I think you will probably find something to suit The tasting menu is made up from various elements of the F menu if I remember correctly and you will have lots of time to put together your own equivalent

Have a great trip

The tasing menu is good, but my last few times I've chosen not to have simply because I've liked the look more of other things on the menu (and perhaps over-indulged a little in the lounge before the flight). The normal menu is still very good.
