Regardless, there only seems to be about 20 international destinations that Qantas flies too ( and even Qantas doesn't make much of an effort to treat NZ as international which is 4 of them ). If they continue to reduce the number of destinations, the need for new aeroplanes does nicely drop
I imagine that America is counted as two continents (North and South America)

The comment was that QF can still claim it flies to all six continents! Antartica is one of the continents

In a traditional 6 continent set, America contains north and south; in a common 7 continent group, then North and South are separate

Qantas do fly around over Antartica for more than 2 or 3 hrs but never touch down yet... and also it's for charter flights..lol
