Qf baggage allowance on walkabout fare

Hi, I just wanted to ask on here as I knew someone would know the answer.

I am thinking of booking a Qantas Walkabout fare from

Lhr to MEL to Bne to Lax to Lhr

Usually the allowance is 1 piece for all flights except Bne to Lax. As the booking is on one ticket does that mean that I can travel with 2 pieces because there is a sector with A 2 piece entitlement (bne to lax). . All flights are Qantas except lax to lhr which is BA

The qf website does not explain it enough for me to understand.

Thanks everyone

If the journey is just on Qantas, then I think you will find that the US allowance applies to the whole journey. Before the IATA change, this was always the case previously on QF tickets

Thank you. That's what I thought. But I was wondering about BA as there is no mention on theqantas website about this.

Wouldn't the Most Signifigant Carrier rule kick in here, ensuring that BA give the QF allowance?

I missed that the last sector was on BA, but , indeed, the QF allowance should apply across to BA

I miust admit, so did I when I read the original post, I didn't pick up on the LAX to LHR part having to be on BA or AA, until I read the following:
