Help!!!! Connection Time

My flight to Sydney from New Caladonia on Air Cal was cancelled and I'm on a flight now on the 17th getting in at noon. My Qantas connection to LAX leaves at 3:15 pm. I have to go out of customs to get my ticket and check baggage. Is three hours enough time?????....thanks!!!!!!

Oodles of time as long as you are on time and even with a slightly late arrival should not be a problem.

Can I ask a really dumb question, why do you have to get your ticket? Can you not collect it from the transfer desk and therefore if you have your ticket number have Air Cal check your bags all the way to LAX? That way you simply use the transit facilities at SYD airport.

Or is someone else who is not travelling with you to LAX holding a physical paper ticket for you? If so, I hope you don't have issues with Australian Immigration wanting to see a ticket for your departure if you are not an AU or NZ citizen.

If you don't have to clear customs/immigration, ask about getting your bags checked through then should have no issue with the connection time, and can spend it in the Qantas Lounge
