If it is an ex-EU flight, in some situations EU downgrade compensation may apply, I think?

We had a T fare, we are now downgraded to a B fare in economy so perhaps someone can tell me if I am likely to see anything back

That appears to be for AUS only issued tickets and also does not mention R class. I would not be surprised to hear the OP was booker in R.
If the flight is ex-EU and there is less than 2 weeks notice of the change then the refund should be 75% of cost of ticket for that flight sector under regulation 261/2004 ( see http://ec.europa.eu/transport/air_po...q_and_a_en.pdf ) If the downgrade is just one way or even EU-Asia, 75% of what amount is the issue Dave |

The table does indeed say it is only for tickets sold in Australia but does cover R class. There is a column for W and another for R and T classes
