Hmm - not a fan of the "if you want to manage your bookings it is just a click away to Qantas.com".

I want an app that works on the phone - not one that refers back to the website for the important things

Response from people at my work was very underwhelming. I was expecting an improved version of the webapp to do OLCI, manage bookings etc. Instead this is just FF marketing (perhaps preparing again for the program to be sold off?). For the amount this would have cost to develop, they could have produced something truly useful to flyers.

+1 - it is complete marketing rubbish and Apple should never ever approve such application...

Why shouldn't they? Apple don't care what is on there, providing it meets the guidelines that they set.

It's not offensive, it doesn't crash, it has a function and does not duplicate functionality of any of Apples installed apps.

If it's 'absolute rubbish' go browse the App store. There's so much garbage on there, and thousands of '[email protected]' apps.

I agree it's marketing junk, but Apple have no reason not to accept this.

Qantas's last app was removed from the app store because it was useless :2cents:

I would prefer if they looked at AA's redemption rates

...and eVIP's and space-available upgrade for EXP.. and and and.

If I could swap all my points to AA to earn EXP easily in AU, i'd be doing it (unfortunately the majority of my travels is on QF domestic).

Not really interested in where my points will take me. More interested in how many points I still require to go to a chosen destination. And this info is not provided by this app.

Disappointing application. I amassed points the other day yet the application swears I have earned nothing in 30 days.

Also it does not show your status credit summary although I'm aware that this app is to support the frequent shoppers out there rather than flyers.

Far easier to track your QFF points and SCs using the "Quota" app.
